in the Adirondacks
Smoke Rise Campground offers a traditional camping experience with campsites and cabin rentals located on a small private lake.
Stay at our Campground in The Adirondacks
Smoke Rise Campground is a traditional camping experience located on the shore of Warner pond in the Town of Chester just south of Pottersville New York. 36 acres of wooded campsites, hills, valleys and a beach area await for a classic seasonal camping atmosphere that will remind you of childhood summers. We are a family campground with multi-generational and multi-family member groups camping here each year. We offer seasonal campsites and winter storage, no need to move your camper every year! In addition, we have some transitional RV as well as tent sites for guests to reserve and enjoy, right on the pond. Our four rustic cabins located throughout the park are a great alternative to tents and RV camping. Enjoy all the benefits of camping in the trees but with all the conveniences of a full kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bath. All of our guests have access to multiple men’s and ladies restrooms and bath houses throughout the park, a game pavilion, an onsite store, playground area, and a stone fire pit and chairs by the beach.
